A Saucon Valley High School student has two entries–and two chances to win–in a video contest sponsored by Miller-Keystone Blood Center to help encourage young people to become regular blood donors.

Allen Meadows produced or co-produced (with Matt Cherry) two short videos for the contest based upon the theme “Getting Younger Generations to Donate Blood,” and he could win all or a share of a $500 scholarship if one of them receives the most views on YouTube by April 15.
Meadows’ clips as well as the other student-produced videos are posted on the Miller-Keystone website. All of the videos are about two minutes long or less.

Miller-Keystone announced last week that they are facing a critical blood shortage.
