Leo P. Fox Sr., 91, of Durham Township died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. He was the husband of the late Betty Marie Fox, who died Jan. 6, 2018.

Leo P. Fox Sr., 91, of Durham Township, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown.

He was born in Williams Township on June 20, 1926 to the late Forrest F. and Martha (Clinton) Fox. Leo served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked for the former Whippany Paper Mill in Riegelsville for 27 years, then worked for the Palisades School District as a custodian and part-time bus driver until retiring. Leo was a member of the Springtown Rod & Gun Club, Harer’s Hunting Camp in Tioga County and the Coachman E-Z Goers. He was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Durham.

Children: Donna M. (John D.) Will of Williams Township, Susan L. (James C.) Godown of Milford, N.J., Shirley M. (Stanley K.) Fenstermacher of Bethlehem Township, Leo P. Jr.  (Rosemary) of Quakertown; son-in-law: Walter Hart of Whitehall; grandchildren: Vanessa Will, Beth (Barry) King, Devon Hart, Erik (Brooke Ellis) Godown, Rachel Godown, Dylan Fenstermacher, Jessica (Evan) Maher, Louis Fox; great-grandchildren: Nathan and Madison King. He was predeceased by a daughter: Nancy L. Hart; brothers: Harry Wohlers, Theodore Wallace, Forrest W., George, Roy, Clarence Fox.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at his church, 821 Durham Road, Durham. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment with military honors will conclude services at Durham Cemetery.
