Carolyn L. Hittinger, 72, of Lower Saucon Township died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 at Easton Nursing & Rehab Center. She was the wife of Theodore W. Hittinger.She was born in Fountain Hill on Nov. 25, 1942 to the late Russell and Georgine (Mobers) Hetrick. Carolyn was one of the founding members of Medic 5 as a paramedic. She was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury Township, and had served on its church council and as past superintendent of the Sunday school. Carolyn loved doing a variety of crafts, enjoyed bowling and helped with Cub Pack #146.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her loving husband of 50 years; son: Kirk J. of Elkins Park; siblings: Andrew J. (Linda J.) of Somerville, Ala., Priscilla P. (Everett) Oren of Bethlehem; three grandchildren: William P. and Andrew B. Hittinger and Alberto Clark. She was predeceased by a son: Kyle C.; and a brother: Robert R.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015 at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury Township. The memorial service will be followed by a reception at the church social hall. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
