Hellertown Man, Wanted in NJ, Arrested in Bethlehem, Police Say

A Hellertown man who is currently listed on the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office’s “Most Wanted” list was arrested in Bethlehem Friday afternoon, according to the crime summary report issued by the Bethlehem Police Department Monday.

Bethlehem police said Ferdinand Vazquez, 27, of the 1100 block of First Avenue, Hellertown, was arrested on an active warrant out of New Jersey and subsequently arraigned as a fugitive from justice.

Police said the arrest took place on Essex Court, which is off Pembroke Road in the city’s Marvine section.

They added that Vazquez was allegedly in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest.

According to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office website–which lists Vazquez’s last known address as Ontario Street, Bethlehem–he is wanted on a narcotics charge.
