The Richland Township Police Department put out a warning to shoppers Tuesday afternoon, after pickpockets reportedly struck late last week at several popular stores in the township near Quakertown.

In a post on the department’s Crimewatch website police said two men pictured in store surveillance photos are suspects in a series of thefts that occurred at Aldi, TJ Maxx and Gabe’s on Oct. 26.

All three stores are located in different shopping centers that are in close proximity to one another. Aldi is located in the Richland Marketplace shopping center, TJ Maxx is located in the Richland Crossing shopping center and Gabe’s is located in Trainers Corner.

“The two (men) act in concert, with one distracting the victim and the other committing the theft,” police said.
