Over $6,000 Reported Stolen in Skill Game Theft

State police at Dublin said Monday they are investigating a theft from a skill game at an upper Bucks County convenience store.

Skill games are video kiosks found in shops, restaurants, bars, malls and other locations around the state. Individuals who purchase rounds of play can win payouts at games that require the use of a skill, such as recognizing patterns.

According to state police, the skill game theft they are investigating involves a machine at the Top Star Express on John Fries Highway in Milford Township. A PSP news release said the machine is owned by Buffalo Skill Games.

Police said the theft was reported June 19 and resulted in the loss of $6,209. The news release did not explain how the money was stolen from the game.
