Lower Saucon Township residents and business owners will soon have another option when it comes to high-speed Internet.

According to a Comcast spokesperson, the company is expanding its Xfinity network and Comcast Business services to all of the township, with work scheduled to begin later this spring.

“Lower Saucon will join the more than 64 million homes and businesses across the country to have access to a network that is trusted by essential community organizations like hospitals, schools, transportation systems and first responders,” she said. “Residents will be able to take advantage of the full suite of Xfinity products including Internet, video, mobile, voice and home security.”

In a statement, the spokesperson said the expansion is part of Comcast’s ongoing investment in the Lehigh Valley, where it has already brought Xfinity to Coopersburg borough (2023) and Upper Saucon Township (2025). According to a Feb. 12 news release, Comcast is also expanding Xfinity to homes and businesses in Freemansburg, Bethlehem Township, Palmer Township, Forks Township, Easton and Emmaus. The spokesperson confirmed that expansion into Hellertown borough is also planned.
