Less than a week before Christmas, Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a package theft in Leithsville.

Less than a week before Christmas, Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a package theft in Leithsville.

According to a police news release, the package was from Bed, Bath & Beyond and was delivered by UPS to a home in the 1900 block of Leithsville Road sometime Saturday.

Package thefts are often reported during the holiday season, and Lower Saucon police shared a link to a story about preventing package thefts earlier this week.

Among the tips are the following recommendations:

  • Always request signature confirmation on package deliveries.
  • Have packages delivered to your workplace if possible.
  • Request email alerts (if available) for when your package is delivered.
  • If possible, specify to the delivery company where you would like your package placed.

Anyone with information about the Leithsville package theft is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
