Bingo, Chinese Auction Planned for April 30

The Lehigh Valley Chorus will hold a bingo benefit on Saturday, April 30 at the Dewey Fire Co. Banquet Hall, 502 Durham St., Hellertown.

Vera Bradley bags and gift card prizes will be offered.

The cost is $15 for 15 games. There will also be $5 special games, with prizes including a Coach purse, cash, and a Mary Kay gift basket, as well as a Chinese auction with lots of great prizes.

Lunch will also be available for purchase. On the menu are pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, drinks, ice cream and waffles.

Doors will open at noon and games begin at 1 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Lehigh Valley Chorus’s musical education initiative.

According to the website, “the award-winning Lehigh Valley Chorus is a dynamic group of women of all ages and backgrounds who come together to sing 4-part harmony in a fresh and exciting barbershop style.”

Their repertoire includes classic barbershop tunes, pop, spirituals, musical theater and holiday fare.
