Week 3 Panther Pregame Football Focus: Saucon @ Palmerton

Week #3 of Saucon Valley high school’s football season will continue tonight as the Panthers load the bus for their first away game of the 2019 season and travel to compete against the Palmerton Blue Bombers.  After falling to Southern Lehigh on opening night, Saucon Valley (1-1) bounced back to defeat Pen Argyl last week 24-7.  On Week 1, the Bombers (1-1) flew into Palisades and flattened the Pirates 47-6 before crashing against Southern Lehigh 27-12 during Week 2.  Last year, Saucon Valley hosted the Bombers and came out on top 34-26 in a very physical affair. This contest is shaping up to be another bruising battle.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Panther Play of the Week: Safety Dance!

DE-fense!, DE-fense! Friday night against Pen Argyl, the Saucon Valley Panthers were able to secure their first victory of the 2019 season and the first career win for head-coach, Brad Trembler. But, all the good news from Friday night got started with the Panther defense.

Panthers Survive Knight Time

The Saucon Valley Panthers defended their home turf against the Pen Argyl Green Knights in a Friday night football tilt.  Both the Panthers and the Knights took the field winless.  Last week, Saucon fell to the Southern Lehigh Spartans while Pen Argyl came up short to the Salisbury Falcons.  It was an absolute beautiful night for football and a beautiful night for one of these teams to pick up their first win of the 2019 season.

Week 2 Panther Pregame Football Focus: Saucon v. Pen Argyl

Are you ready for some more football, Saucon Valley?  The Panthers will play at home again on Friday night against the Pen Argyl Green Knights.  Saucon Valley soundly defeated Pen Argyl last season 41-3.  Last week, Saucon Valley got off to a rough start and fell hard against Southern Lehigh.  Hopefully, this week, the Panthers (0-1) will get back on track against the Knights (0-1).  The Green Knights lost to the Salisbury Falcons last week 25-16. This will be a bruising battle between two programs looking to get a tally in the win column.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
