The tradition of family fun continues at Dimmick Park, Hellertown, where children aged 2-12 gather with their families to charge into various fields to scoop up as many eggs and other prizes as possible. On Saturday, April 4 at precisely 10 a.m., a siren will start over 1,000 children scrambling for over 8,000 eggs and several hundred other prizes. Some of the eggs will have prize tags inside which should be surrendered at the park pavilion to claim the appropriate prize, so be sure to check all eggs prior to leaving the park. Parents are encouraged to have their children arrive in plenty of time to reach their age-appropriate field and be ready BEFORE 10 a.m.! Hellertown Historical Society will again organize this event. The Easter Bunny will arrive by fire truck caravan just before the hunt gets underway and will be available on the stage for photo opportunities after the hunt. There will be plenty of fun for all as we welcome the Easter holiday in true Saucon Valley tradition. This event is rain or shine.
