The Coopersburg Historical Society is excited to present a fascinating talk by Dr. Frank J. Pazzaglia, geology professor at Lehigh University. In this informative session, Dr. Pazzaglia will explore the geological history of the Saucon Valley and its significant role in the region’s ancient landscape. Learn how the area’s unique rock formations and sedimentary layer helped preserve the remarkable dinosaur tracks once exposed along Rt. 309, just south of Coopersburg. Before the talk, the Coopersburg Historical Society will also present a brief history of the discovery and theft of these iconic dinosaur tracks.
