Dozens of people attended the event, which included remarks by Legion Commander Geoffrey Baer, Hellertown Mayor Richard Fluck and State Rep. Bob Freeman (D-136), bagpipes, a patriotic medley performed by members of the Saucon Valley High School Band, and the presentation of pins to all of the veterans in attendance.
