The Lehigh Valley Outreach Depot (LVOD) is a huge warehouse staffed by volunteers who collect, organize and provide new and gently used household items for those in need. Clients who have been prescreened by a number of social service agencies, churches and schools as being deemed needy are allowed to come to the LVOD, only once, to select basic household items. The LVOD helps families affected by domestic violence, fire, natural disaster, transition and poverty. Some families have one or more family members with physical or mental handicaps.

Listed below are different household items the Depot can use. Monetary gifts are also welcome. Tax receipt/donation receipts from the Depot are always available if needed.

Donated items can be dropped off at Hellertown Borough Hall, 685 Main St., Hellertown, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
