Farmers’ Market to Include Several New Vendors
When the Saucon Valley Farmers’ Market opens for its tenth season May 3, it will be in a new location, but will still include the producer-vendors local residents have come to rely on for fresh produce, meats, prepared foods and more.
This year the market will also welcome several new vendors, including:
- John T. Hirsch Farms, a Bushkill Township farm that specializes in Pennsylvania-grown fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers.
This season the Saucon Valley Farmers’ Market will be held on a grassy field next to the Hellertown Area Library on Constitution Avenue, across from Dimmick Park in Hellertown, due to a construction project at Water Street Park.
The market–which features dozens of vendors selling everything from tomatoes to handcrafted soap to honey–will be open Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Nov. 22.
Saucon Valley Farmers’ Market also frequently hosts special events and live entertainment.
