Hellertown Bakery Opens (Photos)
A new bakery opened for business at 612 Main Street in Hellertown Tuesday.
The Hellertown Bakery located at 612 Main St. opened Tuesday morning to brisk sales of danishes, turnovers, cakes, cupcakes, bread, croissants, rolls, mini cannoli, cookies, cake pops (a specialty), breakfast sandwiches, coffee and more.
Baker Joe Ciamprone said a formal opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at some point in the future.
For now, he and partner/owner Leiane McCarty are just excited to finally welcome the community into their shop, which was formerly an office.
The bakery will be open daily from very early in the morning until 5 p.m.
