The workshops are led by Kindred Spirits owner June Rose, in conjunction with her personal coaching (One of a Kind Personal Coaching), as another way to connect with her customers; people from diverse walks of life whose goals include everything from going back to school to changing careers to personal contentment.

“Just like no two snowflakes are alike, no two people are alike either–I knew right away that was the perfect name for my style of personal coaching–to treat each person like a unique individual,” Rose said.

“I have never met anyone with more real life experience better qualified and capable to help those who realize they’re not maximizing their day to day,” said David D., in a comment recently posted to the Facebook page for One of a Kind.

“I have 20 years of experience in dealing with life as it comes, including significant losses in the past two years, but more importantly, how not to be defined by those events”, she said. “I’m a big fan of course correcting as need be along the way.”

She added that her “hope is that people (who attend a workshop) will leave here with more peace of mind than they came in with, and share that peace with others.”

During the workshops, Rose shares her authentic life experiences on each topic, encourages collaboration among participants, and provides practical techniques and meaningful interaction that will be beneficial in situations outside the workshop. “Sort of like spiritual CPR,” she said.

The topic for July’s wellness workshop is “Holding Space for Self and Others.” The focus is learning how to create sacred space for one’s self and how to hold space for others by being fully present (please see the Facebook event page for more information).

The topic for August’s wellness workshop is “Emotional Vampires ~ How to Protect Yourself.” That will be held Friday, Aug. 5.

The cost to attend a wellness workshop is $20 in advance or $30 at the door, and advance tickets may be purchased online.

For more information about each month’s topic, as well as personal coaching, visit and like the Facebook page for One of a Kind Personal Coaching or call (610) 838-KIND.

A free 15-minute consultation either by phone or in person (preferred) is available to all new one-on-one personal coaching clients, and three-month to one-year coaching packages are available, which include free admission to the wellness workshops.

“I don’t just want to give lip service to people’s dreams,” Rose said. “I want to help them create their dreams in reality.”
