Torre, an upscale Mexican restaurant at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township, will open Thursday, Nov. 13, according to an article published by the Express-Times.
Among other things, the eatery will feature a three-story, luminescent “tequila tower” showcasing more than 80 varieties of the Mexican spirit.
Torre’s menu–described as modern Mexican–is already posted on its website, and features everything from Huevos rancheros ($8.75, listed under “Brunch Especiales”) to Atun Ceviche ($14), made with yellowfin tuna, pineapple, sweet peppers, serrano chili, cilantro and lime.
There is a children’s menu available.
Cocktails on tap will include the “La pintamosa” ($11.50), made with la pinta pomegranate tequila, pomegranate juice and champagne, and the “Mocha manchado” ($9), made with avion espresso tequila, creme de cacao, Kahlua, espresso and “crema.”
A Happy Hour featuring select $6 “comida” (appetizers), $6 glasses of wine, $5 beers and $6 cocktails will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
Reservations can be made by calling 610-841-9399, and gift cards are already being sold.
Torre will be open Sundays for brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Monday through Sunday for lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The restaurant, which is located at 2960 Center Valley Parkway, Center Valley, will be open for dinner from 4 to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; from 4 to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and from 4 to 9 p.m., Sundays.
A Twitter feed and Facebook page for Torre are already set up, and as of Monday the Facebook page had more than 750 followers. Torre is also on Instagram as @torrerestaurant.
Torre is owned by Lehigh Valley restaurateur George Paxos, who also owns Melt at the Promenade Shops and Blue in Bethlehem Township. It replaces the Latin fusion restaurant Pacifico, which closed in January.
