Donations can be placed in a box inside the lobby of the bank at 741 Main Street or given to any bank representative. The collection will run from Nov. 17 through Dec. 5.

The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton, is a no-kill animal shelter located in Williams Township, and serves as Northampton County’s primary animal rescue facility.

The shelter rescues approximately 3,500 animals each year and also provides low-cost spay/neuter services. Adopting animals out to loving homes and investigating reported cases of animal cruelty are also part of its mission.

Some of the items the shelter needs donated are: cat litter; new or used blankets, towels, pillowcases, sheets and pillows; dry cat and dog food; canned cat and dog food; paper towels; laundry detergent; bleach; cat toys; Kongs or rubber dog toys; shampoo; grooming clippers; and long-handled scrub brushes.

The center also has a wish list posted on Amazon.com.
