Tyler D. Robinson, 25, of Lower Saucon Township, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Fountain Hill, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on March 20, 1989 to Douglas A. and Adrienne L. (Brady) Robinson. He attended elementary and secondary school in Saucon Valley. He was very active in sports, and created many special memories on the basketball court together with his father as coach. He was a 2007 graduate of The Phelps School, Malvern, Pa., where he lettered in basketball and track. Tyler spent considerable time in Vermont’s Green Mountains, where he worked and spent time hiking, organic gardening, learning gunsmithing and practicing marksmanship, and enjoying nature. Tyler loved playing guitar and spending time with his beloved cat, Dungeon Kitty. Tyler believed all of humanity was connected, and he lived life by the core values he held so dear: kindness, simplicity, knowledge, love of animals and respect of nature. He believed you needed to always speak the truth and be true to yourself. His gentle and sincere compassion for others, his humor, and desire for a kinder and better world touched many. As he shared recently: “I don’t fly a flag, wear a badge, belong to a team. I want us all together as it should be.”
