Businesswoman, office manager and dearest mother and grandmother Eleanor Krim Barchanowitz passed peacefully on Dec. 22, 2014, surrounded by her loving daughters. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Dec. 26, at 1:30 p.m. in the King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton, N.J. Eleanor was born in Newark, N.J., and graduated from Weequahic High. She was employed by Acme Ring Manufacturing and owned Eleanor Barr Stationary & Invitations. She was office manager for Goldfarb Chiropractic & Acupuncture until 2010. She was a member of B’nai B’rith & Brandeis Women. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Herman.
Eleanor leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Shelley Goldberg of Hellertown and Jodi (Steven) Goldfarb; precious grandchildren, Ben and Mikhaila, Melissa, Amanda, Brandon, Jeremy, Ryan and Erik; sisters, Lorian Finkelstein, Corinne (Charles) Baker, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Donations may be made to Project You are Love, P.O. Box 22, Hellertown, PA 18055 or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are by the Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union, N.J.
