Grace M. Arnold, 94, formerly of Center Valley, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of the late Robert August Arnold (died Nov. 4, 1993). She was born in Allentown on Feb. 28, 1920 to the late O. Frank and Mary L. (Nester) Clauser. Grace was a seamstress at the former Allison Manufacturing in Allentown for 30 years and the former Sondra Manufacturing, Allentown, until retiring in 1982. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Allentown. Grace always had a passion for music in her heart, even from her early years. In the ’30s she was known as Tex Lee while performing with the Willis Meyers Ramblin Cowboys. Her passion continued into her 90s, as she would still strum her Martin guitar and perform at many senior living venues with her son Frederick.ARNOLD.GRACE

Loving children: Roberta G. (Larry) Wister of Center Valley, Frederick D. (Carlene), Barbara A. Guth, Janet M. Washburn, all of Allentown; brother: Wilbur (Johnetta) Clauser of Allentown; grandchildren: Greg, Robin, Cindy, Steven, Scott, Stacy; great-grandchildren: Afton, Coryn, Kaehler, Cameron, Louie, Hailey, Payton, Barrett, Raelynn. She was predeceased by a grandson: Jeffrey Guth; four brothers; and four sisters.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown.
