Est. Read Time: 2 mins

Fans of frozen yogurt won’t have to travel far to satisfy their cravings for the tasty treat once a YoFresh Yogurt Cafe franchise opens in Hellertown later this spring.

Franchisees Donna and Paul Novak of Bethlehem Township told borough planners Tuesday they are targeting mid-May for the opening of their business in the Shoppes at Hellertown.

The business will be located at 13 Main St., in the middle of the shopping center.

Donna Novak said it will also feature an organic juice bar and a room for private parties, including birthday parties.

The store will have seating for about 75 patrons, and the Novaks hope to install benches out front.

Hours for the YoFresh store are expected to be noon to 10 p.m., seven days a week.

Paul Novak said the business will open with two employees, and may expand its workforce to include a couple of part-timers over the summer.

Locally, there are other YoFresh yogurt cafes in South Whitehall Township, Whitehall Township and Richland Township.

According to the YoFresh website, the stores “(serve) up delicious all natural frozen yogurts with a large variety of delicious toppings, fresh yogurts and fruit smoothies.”
