LSPD Issues 5 Speeding Tickets Monday Morning

The Lower Saucon Township Police Department announced in a news release that officers issued five speeding tickets Monday morning, as part of an aggressive driving enforcement initiative along Rt. 378.

Police said the crackdown took place between 6 and 10 a.m., and also resulted in citations being issued for driving with an expired inspection (4), driving on a suspended license (2), a red light violation, passing in a no passing zone and disobedience to a traffic control device.

Township police have conducted several aggressive driving enforcement blitzes along the heavily-traveled Rt. 378 corridor since late March.
