UPDATE: The dog’s owner has been located.

Hellertown officials are seeking the owner of a female Yorkshire Terrier found at Main and Depot streets Tuesday evening.

A photo of the little dog, commonly known as a “Yorkie,” was posted on the borough’s Facebook page early Wednesday.

Anyone who recognizes the dog or knows who its owner is should call the borough at 610-838-7041.

A female pit bull found at Lower Saucon and Applebutter roads in Lower Saucon Township Tuesday has been reunited with her owner, it was reported early Wednesday.
