A Fountain Hill woman was charged with careless driving after she allegedly caused an accident south of Leithsville Saturday.

In a news release issued Monday, Lower Saucon Township Police said Deisha Fontanez-Vincente, of the 800 block of Tombler Street, “was swerving as she drove west up Flint Hill Road.”

Fontanez-Vincente allegedly swerved as she passed by the end of Waldheim Road, where police said an investigation determined that she struck the front of a vehicle driven by a Saylorsburg, Monroe County man as he waited at the stop sign there.
