Thefts from Vehicles Reported in Southeast Hellertown

Hellertown Police said Tuesday that they are investigating thefts from several unlocked cars that occurred late last week in the southeastern part of the borough.

Police didn’t specify which streets were affected by the thefts, but the southeast quadrant is typically defined as the area east of Main Street and south of Water Street.

In a news release, police said residents reported that the thefts occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday and 4 a.m. Friday.

Police are encouraging residents to lock their car doors.
