Following a recall by Perrigo Company plc, GIANT Food Stores announced Saturday that it has removed from sale Care One Children’s Mucus Relief Cough due to incorrect dosage markings which could result in a potential overdose.

Following a recall by Perrigo Company plc, GIANT Food Stores announced Saturday that it has removed from sale Care One Children’s Mucus Relief Cough due to incorrect dosage markings which could result in a potential overdose.

  • Care One Children’s Mucus Relief Cough – Cherry Flavor, 4 oz., UPC 34152031837 with an expiration date of 3/17

GIANT said in a news release that it has received no reports of illnesses to date.

Customers who have purchased the product should discard any unused portions and bring their purchase receipt to any GIANT for a full refund.
