A Lower Saucon Township man pleaded guilty in Lehigh County Court Monday to homicide by vehicle, homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol, involuntary manslaughter and other charges, and will be sentenced in March to at least three years in state prison, the Morning Call reported.

According to an article in the newspaper, furniture mover Robert John Kritzar, 43, of the 2300 block of Silver Creek Road, had a blood alcohol content of at least .22 percent–nearly three times the legal limit–and was traveling at 69 mph when he slammed into the back of 34-year-old Nathan Warke’s Jeep Wrangler in stopped traffic near the Lehigh River bridge on Rt. 22 in Whitehall on May 28, 2014.

Warke was killed in the crash, which sandwiched his SUV between Kritzar’s Ford F750 box truck and a tractor-trailer, the article indicated.

Kritzar has a prior conviction for drunk driving, and both a can of beer and a partially empty bottle of whiskey were found by state police in his box truck at the accident scene, the newspaper also reported.
