Woman Arrested on Heroin Possession Charge, Police Say

A woman was arrested on Saucon Street in Hellertown Jan. 17 on charges of heroin possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and being a fugitive from justice, borough police said in a news release Wednesday.

According to police, Bethann Ritter, 24, no address provided, was incarcerated at Northampton County Prison.

Online county court records from late 2014 list Ritter’s address as being in Hellertown.

Records pertaining to the current charges were not available via the database.
