Anti-Gay Slur Written Near Man’s Mailbox, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident in which they say a mailbox was damaged an anti-gay slur was written on the pavement in front of it.

Lower Saucon Township Police are investigating a criminal mischief incident in which they say a mailbox was damaged an anti-gay slur was written on the pavement in front of it.

In a news release issued Wednesday, police said their investigation revealed that the mailbox in the 2100 block of Skyline Drive was damaged sometime between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

The word “FAG” was painted on the road in front of the mailbox sometime between 4:30 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday, they added.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
