Celebrate SV History at Heller Homestead Park April 30

On Saturday, April 30, in celebration of History Day in the Saucon Valley region, the Saucon Valley Conservancy and historic Heller Homestead Park in Lower Saucon Township will offer tours of the Widow’s House and the Michael and Margaret Heller House guided by docents in period costume.

Visitors will also be able to tour the adjacent root cellar and 4-square garden and walk on self-guided nature trails beside the Saucon Creek.

The park will also host Civil War re-enactors during History Day.

Lunch food and snacks will be available for purchase.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Saucon Valley Conservancy is a regional nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the Heller Homestead and Saucon Creek, and to enhancing public appreciation of our environment and heritage through education, preservation, the arts and historical research.
