The finishing touches are being put on Lehigh Valley Health Network’s new 11,600 square-foot medical office building in downtown Hellertown, which will become the new home of LVPG Family Medicine-Hellertown and Health Network Labs by late May, a hospital spokesman confirmed Monday.

The family medical practice and laboratory testing facility are currently located behind Saucon Valley Manor at 1072 Main St.

LVHN “also plans to add more services but those are not finalized,” said Brian Downs, the hospital’s Director of Media Relations. “The new building will give us additional space for the services I mentioned and for others, as it is two stories.”

Downs said that initially about 20 employees will work in the building, which is located across from Hellertown Borough Hall at 708 Main Street.

Lou Pektor developed the property, which was formerly home to Murray Motors.

Allied constructed the building, and Ondra Huyett Associates fit out the interior, Downs said.
