It won’t be long until there’s another opportunity to stock up on bargains–or get rid of some of your stuff–if you live in Hellertown.
The Hellertown Community Yard Sale, which has become an early summer tradition in recent years, is planned for Saturday, June 4 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m
Yard sales will be held at homes and businesses throughout the borough, with a map available the week prior to the sale at www.hellertownborough.org.
The deadline to register for the yard sale and be included on the map is Monday, May 23.
Anyone who plans to hold a sale should fill out a permit form at either Hellertown Borough Hall, 685 Main St., or Coldwell Banker Hearthside, Realtors, 186 Main St., Hellertown.
The Hellertown Community Yard Sale is sponsored by Coldwell Banker Hearthside and hosted by the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce and Borough Business Revitalization Program (BBRP).
H-LS members are being asked to consider hosting business sidewalk sales on the same day as the yard sale, to help draw shoppers downtown.
