Angela V. Stralo, 80, of Lower Saucon Township, died Friday, July 15, 2016 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Fountain Hill.

Angela V. Stralo, 80, of Lower Saucon Township, died Friday, July 15, 2016 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Fountain Hill.1329 She was the wife of Rollin G. Stralo Jr. She was born in Fountain Hill on Oct. 13, 1935 to the late Rudolph and Julia (Aguilar) Amelio. She worked as a legal secretary for the Bethlehem Steel and Lehigh Portland Cement Co. Angela was a 1953 graduate of Liberty High School. She was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Hellertown, where she sang in the choir and served on the ladies guild. She also was a member of Silver Creek Country Club. Angela was a vivacious “people person.” She loved socializing with friends, playing golf at SCCC, being at her grandchildren’s events, and her family. Her compassion for others was unselfish and heartfelt. Angela left her footprint in the hearts of many.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her husband of 58 years; children: Pam A. (Rick) Flesher of Bethlehem and Kevin J. (Susan) Stralo of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; sisters: Julia Kuruc, Aurora Kundrik; brother: Robert R. Amelio Sr., all of Bethlehem. Angela was predeceased by siblings: Arthur R. Amelio Sr., Sara Alonzo, Elvira Mingora, Sophie DeLeon-Gutierrez and Rudy Amelio Sr.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016 and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The Wednesday morning calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at her church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
