Fountain Hill Woman Pawned Items Stolen from Birch Road Home, Police Say

A Fountain Hill woman is charged with theft and receiving stolen property, after police say she allegedly pawned items stolen Sept. 27 from a home in the 900 block of Birch Road, Hellertown, at an Easton pawn shop.

A Fountain Hill woman is charged with theft and receiving stolen property, after police say she allegedly pawned items stolen Sept. 27 from a home in the 900 block of Birch Road, Hellertown, at an Easton pawn shop.

In a news release issued Friday, police said Kimberly Lacava, 25, of the 600 block of S. Bishopthorpe Street, was arrested Thursday and arraigned on the charges before District Judge Patricia Romig and released on $5,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 19, the news release indicated.
