Woman Ran Red Light, Caused Accident, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police said Wednesday that a township woman was charged with Disregarding a Red Traffic Signal after she allegedly drove through a red light at Seidersville Road and Rt. 378 and into the path of a motorist who was northbound on Rt. 378 on Oct. 29.

Lower Saucon Township Police said Wednesday that a township woman was charged with Disregarding a Red Traffic Signal after she allegedly drove through a red light at Seidersville Road and Rt. 378 and into the path of a motorist who was northbound on Rt. 378 on Oct. 29.

According to police, Kamar Nassry, of the 2000 block of Quail Court, was westbound on Seidersville Road at the time of the 8:48 a.m. crash.

Police said the driver of the pickup truck that struck Nassry’s vehicle was taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital for an evaluation.

Police were assisted at the scene by Dewey ALS, Lower Saucon Fire Rescue 16 and Saucon Collision.
