Have you realized that we are a source of light? We are cruising through this life in a vehicle, aka body, to get us to where we need to be. If there is one thing I have learned through this experience, it is that we are not our body. Our body does not make us who we are. Not our hair, not our weight, not our height, not the color of our eyes, not our fingernails or makeup, not a missing limb, not your skin color–nothing about our bodies is important other than keeping them healthy. Please stop beating yourself up. If you do look in the mirror and find yourself miserable, stop looking in the mirror. Start saying positive affirmations about yourself.
Our relationships also do not define who we are. There are some people who are comfortably miserable but refuse to move on because they cannot fulfill themselves with the light and love that already is inside of them.
We are not our money, our house, our car, our material possessions, our job or our career. That stuff doesn’t make us who we are. What makes us who we are is how we share our light.
I ask God every morning to bring into my life those who will benefit from my services; as a listener, as a voice, as a giver, as a receiver, as a giver of hugs and compassion, as a friend, as a guide, as a spreader of light and love, as a child of God.
What is your contribution to the world? If you think people are looking at you for what you look like and what you have, you aren’t necessarily correct. Your light can shine so much brighter than anything you could own, and brighter than you could ever look, even with glitter. And when you start truly shining, the world will love you exactly as you are. And you will be surrounded by so many beings of light that negativity seems to fall away. Focus on what is truly important and you will go far.
Love and light to you all!
