The FaRanntes’ home received more than 600 votes (37 percent of the total) in the contest, in which there were a total of eight highly-decorated entries from Hellertown and Lower Saucon Township.

Altogether more than 1,600 votes were cast by readers over the past week.

The grand prize includes $100 toward payment of an electric bill, a pass to the Sweet Lights holiday display in Hershey and a $100 gift card to The Mill restaurant and bar in Hershey, and will be presented to the FaRannte family by Saucon Source publisher Josh Popichak and Cheyenne Reiman this week.

In addition to the homes that were featured in the contest, there are dozens more throughout the Saucon Valley with gorgeous light displays. Enjoy them now, by going out for a self-guided driving tour, before yet another holiday season is over.
