A 49-year-old Lower Saucon Township woman is charged with aggravated assault, disarming a law enforcement officer and other charges after police say she became combative with a police officer who was taking her to a relative’s home following an alleged domestic dispute with her boyfriend at her home in the 1300 block of Seidersville Road March 12, according to an article published by Lehigh Valley Live.

Catherine Bush claimed she and her boyfriend were both drunk when he reportedly fell into a wood-burning stove and suffered burns. Police decided to separate the two, and when they took Bush to the relative’s home she allegedly sat on the ground next to the cruiser and pulled at an officer’s handgun when he tried to lift her up, which resulted in a struggle in which she also allegedly bit him while resisting arrest, the article stated.
