Red is an 8-year-old coonhound who’s bummed that he’s been adopted and returned to the shelter multiple times.
Unfortunately, when Red is placed in a new home he sometimes display behaviors that make his new owners nervous. This is unusual because he is well-behaved at the shelter. Red is looking for a family that has experience with hounds.
For more information about Red and other pets in need of homes please visit the no-kill Center for Animal Health and Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton (Williams Township) or call 610-252-2722. The shelter is open every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m., and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. For directions, click here. The Center is also on Facebook. Like their page for updates about pets available for adoption, upcoming events and fundraisers. Saucon Source is proud to donate a portion of proceeds from this story sponsorship to the Center to help support their mission of caring for animals in need.
