Hans Otto Reimann, ‘Junior,’ 64, of Springfield Township, died, Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Susan Lee (Campbell).

Hans Otto Reimann, “Junior,” 64, of Springfield Township, died, Friday, Aug. 4, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Susan Lee (Campbell). Hans was born in Doylestown on May 22, 1953 to Hans Reimann of Tucson, Ariz., and the late Margot (Grabowski). He attended Lock Haven University on a basketball scholarship. While in attendance he majored in biology. He was self-employed for 40 years as a tile and stone mason and as a subcontractor for various companies doing soft and hard landscaping, completing many native gardens. He also worked as a pool builder/installer. He portrayed Smokey Bear and helped with the breakfasts at the Springtown Fire Company. He preserved 14 of 16 acres of Laughing Springs, Springfield Township (Bucks and Northampton counties).

SURVIVORS

In addition to his wife of 18 years, children: Lisa A. Mitchell (Ken Thompson) of Auburn, Daniel F. Mitchell (Danielle) of Limerick and Michael J. Mitchell of Riegelsville; siblings: Tim Reimann of Arizona, Ginny Rojas of Richmond, Va., and Tina Supplee (Tom) of Laurinburg, N.C.; grandchildren: Anna and Kenny Mac. Hans was predeceased by brothers: Robert and Bernie.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 14, 2017 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a service of remembrance at 11 a.m. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
