Mongo said it: “The most memorable moment in my high school football career was during my freshman year when we reached the semi-finals in states. Not only that, but every game during that season when I would get a couple of plays. It meant a lot to me because I was only a freshman getting varsity reps.”

Coach Phil Sams said it: “Christian, AKA Mongo, is a special player. During the 2017 season he was an honorable-mention middle linebacker. Mongo also started at fullback. If there was an all-league selection for fullbacks he would have been 1st team All-League. Mongo is a ferocious hitter on both sides of the ball. Christian hits so hard you can hear him from the stands! Another aspect of Christian that is so special is that he is such a hard worker. He loves football and is dedicated to make himself a better football player. For most of 2017 Christian played with a bad high-ankle sprain and never complained. Christian wants to play college football and is on the right track to get there. We cannot wait for another year with Christian!”

Congratulations Christian, and best wishes in the future. The Source is with you!
