Santa came! And he brought miles of smiles to residents of Hellertown as he toured the borough Sunday, with an escort provided by Dewey Fire Co.

The Big Guy was in town about a week early to deliver some early Christmas presents to good little boys and girls and spread holiday cheer as part of the fire company’s annual Santa Run.

And spread cheer he did. It’s pretty hard not to smile when you Santa pulling up in front of your house on a bright red fire truck, candy canes in hand.

Lower Saucon Fire Rescue also held their Santa Run in various township neighborhoods Sunday afternoon.

What time is it? Time to spread some holiday cheer!

Santa had lots of presents to deliver door-to-door. Residents could arrange to have Santa deliver a gift by leaving it along with their address at the fire station in advance.

“Bye, Santa! See you on Christmas!”

“What could be inside that pretty package?” Kelly Lamie received her gift on New Jersey Avenue.

Santa isn’t only watching good little boys and girls. He’s also watching furry friends–and their owners.

It’s Santa…surprise!

Some special gift deliveries even drew a small crowd.

Just about everyone wanted a photo with the Big Guy! From left: Crosby Collins, Lyla Pecuch, Kolton Pecuch and Meghan Sebeth loved it when Santa dropped off gifts for them on Detweiler Avenue.

You’re never too old to take a candy cane from Santa! 🙂
