Attention artists! The Saucon Valley Conservancy is planning the 4th Annual Saucon Creek Arts Festival on Saturday, June 2, 2018, and organizers want to hear from you.
The historic Heller Homestead Park in Lower Saucon Township is the setting for the festival, which transforms the area around the homestead into the largest community arts event in the Saucon Valley each June.
The festival grounds run along the Saucon Creek, and will feature live music, a children’s activity tent, food vendors and more.
The festival’s juried art show will feature up to 60 artists based on creativity, originality, technique and presentation. The jury will award up to $1,300 in cash prizes to winning booths. Artists will be juried the day of the show for cash prizes.
There is limited booth space available, and artists are encouraged to apply now through Zapp at https://www.zapplication.org/event-info.php?ID=6176. Applications for the festival are due March 25. Late applications will be accepted until April 15. More information can be found at www.saucon.org or by calling 610-838-1199.
The Saucon Valley Conservancy is also seeking new committee members and event sponsors. Email in**@sa*********************.org for more information on these opportunities. The conservancy uses funds raised by the festival to help preserve the historic and natural environment of the Saucon Valley as an educational and recreational resource for area residents and visitors.
