It was another dominant performance by the Panthers against the Lehighton Indians. Saucon Valley won 12 of the 14 matches for a 58-9 victory. Lehighton’s only points were the result of a Panther forfeit (120) and a decision (170). The Panthers, on the other hand, benefitted from pins by Dane Druckenmiller (106), Josh Jones (126), Nick Rosengrant (132), Thomas Spirk (160) and Dane Csencsits (182).

Saucon Valley also received bonus points from Kevin Dyer (113), Jason Jones (145) and Jarrett Hirschbeck (195). Dyer earned a 17-2 tech-fall in 4:17. Jones and Hirschbeck each earned major-decisions.

Justin Kyra (138), Angelo Mahaffey (152) and Jared Harka (220) all added decisions for the Panthers. In addition, Panther heavyweight Nick Warnke, received a forfeit.

Varsity Wrestler of the Match: Junior, Jared Harka was named wrestler of the match for his 10-4 decision against Lehighton. Harka used three takedowns, two near-fall points and a couple of escapes on his way to victory.

UP NEXT: Tonight, at Freedom (5:30 p.m.), the Panthers will look to 3-Peat as District XI champions. They will have to get past the Wilson Warriors who were a 37-36 winner over Northwestern Lehigh in the other semifinal. Saucon defeated Wilson 51-22 earlier this season.
