Fidelity Investments to Open Store at Promenade Shops

A Fidelity Investments investor center is expected to open in the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley in Center Valley in May.

Need a place to park your money and (hopefully) watch it grow? If you answered “yes,” Fidelity Investments would no doubt like you to stop by their new store in the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley in Upper Saucon Township.

The store isn’t open yet, but it is listed on the Promenade Shops’ Coming Soon page. The page doesn’t identify an opening date for it, however an individual with knowledge of the plans said it is expected to open in May.

The store will be located in Suite 311, which is next to Soma Intimates and opposite Town Square, where Starbucks and the center’s gazebo and fountain are located.

According to Fidelity.com, the nearest Fidelity Investments store currently is in Warrington, Pa.

Investor centers are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and by appointment, according to the website.

The centers offer a variety of free seminars, in addition to investor services.

The opening is some good news for the Promenade Shops, where several retail businesses have closed in recent months. Among them are Accessories Boutique, which closed at the end of February, and Pandini’s, a fast-casual eatery which closed last fall.
