Maryanne C. Ament, 73, of Lower Saucon Township, formerly of Park Slope, Brooklyn, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at VNA Hospice at St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Feb. 3, 1945 to the late Edward Dermody and Ann (Kiley). She worked for the Workman’s Compensation Board for the State of New York for 20 years until retiring 2011. She attended St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Hellertown.

Children: Susan M. Ament of Brooklyn, James E. (Debra) Ament of Hellertown; brother: Joseph Dermody of Unadilla, N.Y.; grandchildren: Jillian, Christina, Samantha, Isabella, Riley; great-grandson: Sawyer.
SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Joseph G. Duffy Funeral Home, 255 9th St., Brooklyn, N.Y., and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main St., Hellertown. The Friday morning calling hour at the funeral home will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.at St. Theresa’s RC Church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown.
