8th Graders ‘Move Up’ from Saucon Valley Middle School (Photos)

A ‘moving up’ ceremony was held for eighth graders who have successfully completed their four years at Saucon Valley Middle School Monday.

A “moving up” ceremony featuring speakers, music and more was held for eighth graders who have successfully completed their four years at Saucon Valley Middle School Monday.

The students–most of whom will attend Saucon Valley High School in the fall as members of the Class of 2022–graduated from middle school in front of family members–who gathered in the gym for the ceremony.

Hellertown American Legion Commander Eric Medei addressed the eighth grade students who are moving up to become Saucon Valley High School students.

Saucon Valley Middle School Principal Ken Napaver congratulated the students for matriculating from eighth grade.

Saucon Valley High School Principal Beth Guarriello was present at the moving up ceremony held on the last day of school to help welcome the eighth graders who graduated.

Students perform “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
