Marjorie C. “Margie” (Koch) George, 74, died Monday, June 18, 2018 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Fountain Hill. She was born in Allentown on Jan. 28, 1944 to the late Charles J. and Alice M. (Hyatt) Koch. She worked as a clerk for 22 years for the former Gold n’ Things, Hellertown. Margie was a member of St. George’s Episcopal Church, Hellertown, where she served as Past Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Vestry Member, Christian Education Teacher and ECW Member. She also served as the Tail Twister for the Hellertown Lions Club.

SURVIVORS

Children: Robert F. (Michele) of Emmaus and Nedean C. (Robert Gasdaska) of Hellertown; grandchildren: Cheyene, Austin, Skyler; great-grandchildren: Mason, Morgan. She was predeceased by a sister: Georganna R. Weirback.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2018 at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 735 Delaware Ave., Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at the adjoining church memorial garden. The repast will be held immediately following the service.
